The current state of the property, with dates. Last checked October 19, 2026.
Who owns it
Jill McClure is the sole owner, member and manager of the company that holds the property, after Frankie Wood's death in the fall of 2024.[1][2]
Is it for sale
In 2025 McClure told WLOS News 13 that a potential buyer who runs an entertainment venue in Florida was interested. She described the buyer's interests as country music, rodeos, conventions and festivals, and said the Western town would likely stay. The Mountaineer reported there was no contract in place. McClure said she would put the property on the market if the deal did not happen.[2][3]
An appraisal by the Palmer Company valued the property at $6.4 million, including 285 acres.[2]
