The web address

ghosttownvillage.com was the park's own web address in 2015 and 2016. You can see an archived copy of the old official site on the Wayback Machine. The address later lapsed and was re-registered for this history project.

About the park map

The park map is a scan of the original Ghost Town in the Sky park brochure. We added the numbered stops on top so you can tap one and read about it.

About the 3D view

The 3D scene on the home page is our own reconstruction. The ground comes from public elevation data and OpenStreetMap. The base buildings follow recent Street View photos, and the town on top follows an old park brochure, so its layout is approximate. Faraway chairs are drawn larger so you can see them.

Photos

We only use photos we took or have permission to use. Many historical photos of the park, including the Hugh Morton collection, are under copyright and need permission for commercial use.[1] If you have photos or postcards you would like to share, mention it on the memories form and we will follow up about permission before anything is published.
